Services
My full service grooms include a bath, blowout, full body brushout, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and breed-appropriate haircut and/or deshedding. I have experience in all kinds of cuts from breed standards, to silhouette trims, to “teddy bear” cuts, or anything outside the box! All haircuts are custom to YOUR dog looking and feeling the best they can. I want to work together with every pet parent to find a customized grooming schedule that keeps your pup happy, healthy, and Instagram ready!
All products used are industry tested and above industry standard. Every dog receives two shampoos (or more) and a conditioner to restore health to the skin and coat, as well as help any needed deshedding. Nails are clipped as short as they can safely go. Ears are cleaned thoroughly and checked for signs of infection, with plucking provided at no additional cost at veterinary recommendation. The coat is brushed out thoroughly to remove dead hair and cut to a healthy length based on our conversation. Kisses and lovin’s are provided at no additional cost :)
I am a one-on-one and completely cage-free groomer - your dog will not be kenneled in my care.
Additional minor services such as nail filing/buffing, teeth brushing, and anal gland expression are provided at owner request.
I have no breed or size exclusions - if anything, I LOVE the big dogs and often joke that I prefer when they weigh more than me! It is my goal to ensure your furry family members get the care and attention they deserve. I have worked with all breeds, mixes, sizes, shapes, and coat types.
I am Pet Tech First Aid certified and always prioritize your dog’s comfort and safety above all else. Every dog that graces my grooming table is treated like a member of my own family. I have five years of industry experience but still approach every new dog knowing that I always have more to learn.
In the past, I have worked with all kinds of “extra care required” dogs - health concerns, age concerns, over 100lbs, snippy for the groom, or sometimes any combination of the four and more. I meet the dogs where they are at and work to guide them into a partnership built on mutual trust. I never turn a dog away without trying first and have dozens of success stories growing the nervous and reactive into lovebugs. With my one-on-one approach, your pup will have my complete attention and patience to work through any concerns you (or your dog!) may have.

Hi! My name is Amy.
I am a life-long animal lover who never saw herself in this field - originally, I pursued a dual Bachelor’s degree in Video Game Development and Communications from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY (and graduated with honors!). But the desk job life never called me, so I instead found myself applying for “temporary” jobs at corporate grooming salons and started as a bather in August of 2020.
It was all downhill from there. I fell in love with the hectic pace of work, the emotional connections formed with my clients, and - of course - the way I met new dogs every single day. Five years later and I am endlessly grateful for the winding path I’ve found myself on.
Now, when I catch up with my old college friends and tell them I’m a full time dog groomer, they all say “yeah, of course you are.”
When not working, you can find me at home reading with my cat (she’s screaming at me as I write this) or with my partner and friends at a TTRPG table or the Ren Faire.
